MIRI: It took police three hours to dig out
two bodies not far from a construction site
in Permyjaya near here yesterday.

One of the construction site supervisors
filed a missing persons report after two of
his workers failed to turn up for work
following an argument a couple of days ago.
"There was an argument involving the workers
at the site.
"It was then that the two missing foreigners
were last seen and a freshly dug site was
found not long after that," said a police
A police team was sent to the site at 8am to
investigate and after digging for three
hours, the team found two bodies in a gunny
sack. Police believe the two were murdered.
"We cannot ascertain anything for sure now
and all we can say is that this is a murder
case. We will send the bodies for
post-mortem," said Miri deputy police chief
Superintendent Stanley Jonathan Ringgit.
The bodies were later taken to Miri
